Project Summary

HIFraser recently supported the Australian Defence Force Diving School (ADFDS) with an upgrade to its diving systems and recompression chamber facilities.

This was in preparation for the removal and replacement of the 10 Man Re-compression Chamber (RCC).

Project Overview

Prior to the physical removal of the redundant equipment, as well as the modification and integration of all the remaining Breathing Air and Medical Gas equipment, a detailed design package was completed and delivered by HIFraser’s Engineering team.

Project Challenges

A key part of the project was to maintain the ability to conduct diving operations and critical lifesaving capabilities throughout the modification work.

Project Results

The above challenges were overcome by our expert Hyperbaric & Medical Gas installation team, who were able to identify and resolve conflicts early in the project, resulting in a successful job and a satisfied customer.
