HIFraser is the Australian in-country partner for Facet and supplies industry leading oily water separators to the Australian Navy and Commercial Marine industry which are IMO approved and certified.
These oily water separators are compact in size and don’t require the need for absorbents, providing for easy maintenance. These systems are lightweight and function automatically with operation controlled through a PLC.
These units remove hydrocarbons in two stages. Firstly, the free hydrocarbon is separated from water through patented coalescent plate packs. During the second stage of the process, emulsions are broken down by a membrane which removes emulsified hydrocarbon.
