H.I.Fraser subsiduary Pipeline Actuation & Control (PAC) has been supplying trunnion mounted ball valves to Australian oil & gas projects for more than 20years.
Trunnion mounted ball valves are commonly specified wherever large bore and high pressure pipeline shutoff is required. The trunnion mounted ball valve design maintains the standard ball valve features of highly reliable shutoff capability, and minimal flow restriction while in the open postion, but gives a reduced operating torque by anchoring the ball on a trunnion about which the ball rotates. The valve seats are held against the ball by seat springs assisted by pipeline pressure. PAC typically offers ball valves in accodance with API6D – American Petroleum Industry Specification for Pipeline and Piping Valves. Standard features include fire safe certification (API607), antistatic design and blow-out proof stem. Options include flanged or welding ends, bolted or welded construction, and materials including A105/LF2/F316/F51/F53/titanium and other non ferrous alloys, sizes from 1/2″ up to 42″ and pressure classes ASME 150#/300#/600#/900#/1500#/2500#/4500# & API3000/5000/10,000. Please see the PDF brochure below for further details.
PAC provides high quality valves, manufactured in Europe in full technical compliance with end user specifications with raw material forged in European mills within a short project lead time at the best price. PAC is happy to provide technical information regarding trunnion mounted ball valves, which can be supplied complete with manual lever or gearbox operators or actuators as required.
